Your body is made up of 60% of water and it needs to be maintained and replenished everyday. Not drinking enough water can lead to bloating, retaining water, as well as keeping your body from removing toxins and getting rid of fat. Research shows that drinking more water speeds up the body’s metabolism. It is ideal to drink 80-90 oz of water to keep your body hydrated and working at its best. I know it sounds like a lot but once you feel the difference it makes, it will be worth it. You can always add a little bit of fresh lemon or lime or even a little sprinkle of Crystal Light for flavor. Start to get into the habit of keeping water with you wherever you go and down 8 oz of water before and after every meal. Most likely you will become more familiar with many of the public restrooms out there, but it won’t last long, your body will adjust.
