What does it mean to eat “clean” you ask? Simply put, eat food in its whole form. The best bet is to stay away from processed foods, white sugar and flours, and stick with eating lean proteins, complex carbohydrates, fruits and vegetables.
We need to begin to see our bodies as machines, because if you think about it, they really are! Machines that are well taken care of work well and can be useful for a long time. On the other hand, machines not well taken care of do not last long and in the end fail to be useful. Why would we expect anything different from our bodies? We have to take care of ourselves to keep them running at their best so they do not fail us. We have to fuel them with the right kinds of food and supplements and stop putting poisons in our bodies that will only cause us to fail in the end.
If you want to enjoy life, feel great and look your best, you will find eating clean will be something you do for the rest of your life! Why would we expect anything different from our bodies? We can’t keep to do that to our own bodies and expect a long life, health, and do that to our own bodies? Why is it important to keep our bodies running at our best? There are tons of health related reasons, but how about just the way it makes you feel? I always feel at my best when I am treating my body as a machine and fueling it with the best!
